Case study
Worklaunch
Resume intelligence platform for skills and occupation matching.
Internal tool - confidential

Overview
Matches candidates to roles across 3,000+ occupations using structured skill extraction and semantic search. Confidential build under a paid contract.
Worklaunch is a resume intelligence platform that maps unstructured resumes to a standardized skill and occupation taxonomy. It supports semantic matching across ~3,000 occupations and ~14,000 skills, with APIs to manage candidate profiles, job listings, and matching results. Because this work was done under a paid contract, I only share high-level architecture and outcomes, not internal data or UI flows.
This is a contract-funded, confidential build. I only share high-level architecture and approach here, not internal data or full UI details.
Impact
Replaces ad-hoc career advice with structured, data-driven role matching and clear skill gap analysis.
Key challenges
Designing a robust skills graph on ESCO data, handling noisy resumes, and keeping recommendations stable across formats while working under confidentiality constraints.
What I learned
How to build a production-ready skills taxonomy pipeline, design maintainable APIs, and keep the system extensible under real client requirements.
